You don't need an app to train with DAREBEE. Everything is on the website, it works on any phone, tablet or computer, and it's always up to date. If you'd like DAREBEE to sit on your home screen and open like an app, you can install it in a couple of taps.
DAREBEE as a web app
You can install the DAREBEE website itself as an app on your phone, tablet or computer. This is called a web app (or PWA). It adds a DAREBEE icon to your home screen or desktop and opens the site in its own window, without browser bars, so it looks and feels like a regular app. There is nothing to download from an app store: it is simply the website, always up to date, with nothing extra stored on your device.
If your browser supports one-click install, you will see an "install as an app" link above - just tap it and confirm. If the link doesn't appear, you can install manually.
How to Install it manually:
- On a computer (Chrome / Edge): look for the small install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose "Install DAREBEE" / "Add to Home screen".
- On Android (Chrome): open the browser menu (the three dots) and tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app".
- On iPhone / iPad (Safari): tap the Share button, then choose "Add to Home Screen". Apple doesn't allow one-click install, so this is the only way on iOS.
Removing the web app removes only the icon and app window, never your data or your access to the site.
- On a computer: open the DAREBEE app window, click the menu in the top corner and choose "Uninstall DAREBEE".
- On Android: press and hold the DAREBEE icon and choose "Uninstall" or drag it to Remove.
- On iPhone / iPad: press and hold the DAREBEE icon and choose "Delete Bookmark".
FITTAP: tap and go
FitTap is a tiny "tap-and-go" mini game you can use any time you need a quick movement break. One tap gives you a random exercise GIF. No planning, no scrolling, no decision fatigue - just see it and do it.
It runs directly in your browser with nothing to download, so it works the same on a phone, a tablet or a desktop. Use it between tasks, on a work break, or whenever sitting still has gone on long enough.
Why there are no DAREBEE apps in the app stores
DAREBEE no longer supports mobile app development or app updates. Keeping apps maintained, secure, and compatible across constantly changing devices and operating systems takes resources we simply don't have. Instead, we're putting all our energy into what we can do best and do safely: making the DAREBEE website as mobile-friendly as possible, so you can train anywhere without relying on an app.
You may still see older DAREBEE apps listed on Google Play / the Android store under the DAREBEE name. Those are legacy apps we no longer maintain or update, even if they remain visible in the store. They are outdated and redundant - anything they do, the website does better and more safely.
We do not have - and never had - iOS apps. If you see any DAREBEE apps on the Apple store, those are 100% fake / unsafe apps that were not developed or posted by us.
A note on safety
If you see "DAREBEE" apps or DAREBEE materials offered in app stores or elsewhere online, assume it's not us unless it's clearly coming from the official DAREBEE website. Third-party uploads can be outdated, altered, bundled with ads, or unsafe. Please do not download DAREBEE apps, PDFs, or other files from random websites, mirrors, file-sharing pages, or unofficial store listings.
The only safe place to access and download DAREBEE materials is the official DAREBEE website.
