Congratulations! You found DAREBEE -
The best kept secret
on the internet
Let's get you started.
DAREBEE is a FREE, ad-free non-profit fitness resource for real people with real lives. No equipment required for most workouts. No paywalls. No guilt. Just movement, done your way.
The Workout Manual - 5 minutes, saves hours
Every DAREBEE workout uses the same visual language. The manual walks you through how to read a poster, what reps and sets mean, and how to count them. Learn it once and every routine on the site becomes instantly readable. Open the manual →
Three ways in, depending on how much structure you want:
Exercise of the Day
One quick movement, under 60 seconds. Sometimes simple, sometimes tricky. Good for busy days when a full workout isn't happening but you still want to move. Missed a day or want more? Every past exercise is archived here.
Workout of the Day
A new workout posted every 24 hours on the homepage. Follows a balanced rotation so you're not hitting the same muscle groups back to back. WODs are scheduled months in advance and archived here - useful for planning ahead or catching up. Fair warning: if you like the daily surprise, don't peek.
Monthly Challenge
30-day focused challenges - one specific skill or goal per month. A new one launches at the end of each month. Stack one alongside your main routine for extra work on a weak point.
If something feels too hard, it's okay to repeat a day, swap to a lighter workout, or just rest. DAREBEE programs don't include official rest days - the programming is balanced so you naturally get lighter and heavier days. The goal is consistency over weeks and months, not perfection on any single day.
Can't do a move exactly as shown? That's normal and fine. Exercise modifications and alternatives are available for most common limitations. Progress at your own pace - the workouts aren't going anywhere.
Content is a living thing here. New workouts, challenges, programs, and guides are added on a rolling basis, and older material gets refreshed too. If you bookmark something and come back to find it slightly different, that just means it got better.
Regular people with jobs, kids, small apartments and unpredictable schedules. Complete beginners, returning exercisers, anyone rebuilding their fitness after a long break. You don't need a gym, a membership or prior experience. If you have a bit of floor space, you're equipped.
DAREBEE has been run by a small dedicated team since 2012. It's a registered non-profit funded entirely by user donations - no ads, no sponsors, no investors, no data selling. That's why there's nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy. It exists because the people who use it keep it alive.
New workouts - Monday through Thursday
New challenge - at the end of every month
New program - every two months
New how-to videos - recorded Monday and Friday
Existing content - reviewed and updated daily
There's always something new when you come back.
The DAREBEE Community
The community forum is where people log workouts, ask questions, and keep each other accountable. The Checking In section is good for keeping a public workout log - it's low-key and genuinely helpful for staying consistent. The DAREBEE team also answers questions there.
No account is needed to use anything on the site. The forum is there if you want company, not a requirement.
One last thing: if DAREBEE ends up being part of your life, know that it runs on donations from people like you. No pressure - the workouts are free either way. Welcome aboard.
