DAREBEE runs on three funds: current, developmental, and emergency. The Funding Level bar shows you the combined percentage across all three - it's our way of being transparent about where we stand financially and where your donations go.

Right now, you can see the number. Please take it seriously.

DAREBEE Funding

Current Fund

This is the fund that keeps the lights on. It covers recurring expenses - hosting fees, server costs, maintenance, supplies. It is always being used and it is always being depleted. Every month starts at zero and we rebuild from donations.

The Funding Level needs to be near or over 80% for us to cover all expenses for the month.

Developmental Fund

When we have a good month and raise more than we need to cover bills, the extra goes here. This is the money that lets us improve DAREBEE - better tools, better content, things that make the resource more useful to more people.

When the Funding Level shows over 80%, it means all bills are covered and donations are going toward making DAREBEE better.

Emergency Fund

This is the last line. When the current fund runs dry, we pull from the developmental fund first. When that's gone, we're in the emergency fund. It exists for one reason: to give us enough time to do something before DAREBEE goes offline permanently.

When the Funding Level drops below 30%, we are paying current bills from emergency reserves. If that continues long enough, DAREBEE stops existing. Not pauses. Stops.

What the Numbers Mean

Above 80% - we're okay, this month is covered. Between 50-80% - we're short, bills may not be fully covered. Between 30-50% - we're in trouble, the developmental fund is being used for basic operations. Below 30% - we're in the emergency fund. If this doesn't turn around, DAREBEE closes.

That's it. No dramatic music, no guilt trip. Just math.

DAREBEE is free, has no ads, and has no products to sell. It exists entirely because people like you decide it should. If it matters to you, please consider donating. If everyone who used DAREBEE this month gave the price of a coffee, we'd be funded for the year.

I love the pictures, the variety, the amount of time it takes to complete a workout and how you can mix and match if you have a lot of energy or only repeat 3 times if you don’t feel like exercising. The website is awesome and I recommend it whenever I talk about fitness with other people. I cannot thank Darebee enough for how much this project has helped me in having a solid exercise routine and how to deal with exercise when tired, injured or when I don’t have much time.

I also love the concept of "exercise of the day". This website is just awesome. I came to know this website around 2025 since than it has been bookmarked in my browser. I request the developers to please launch the mobile app. I would absolutely love to see it's app on the app Store.
