Better Balance is a quiet challenge that trains your stabilizers from the ground up. Single-leg holds teach your ankles, knees and hips to cooperate while your glutes and core keep everything stacked. The changing shapes - knee lift, star pose, hinge - shift your center of gravity so you learn to control wobbles instead of fighting them. This kind of work pays off everywhere: cleaner squats and lunges, safer runs, smoother kicks, and less “whoa” when you change direction quickly.
Treat each 30-second hold like skill practice, not a strain. Stand tall, keep a soft bend in the standing knee, press your big toe into the floor, and brace lightly through the midline as if zipping up a jacket. Fix your gaze on one point to steady the vestibular system. If you lose balance, reset and keep going - that quick recovery is part of the training. Repeat on the other side and you’ll finish feeling more centered, awake and coordinated.
