Come Back Faster is a lower body workout that will help you become a faster runner and have, in general, faster footwork. By working major muscle groups and tendons it helps strengthen the lower body's kinetic chain and that means you will be able to generate a lot more power with each step. Speed is not just physical. It is also mental. Muscles and tendons react as a result of mental commands that travel along the body's central nervous system (CNS). Visualization plays a key role in developing fast reflexes. Being able to 'see' the movement in our mind. Thinking about combinations of techniques and how we put them together creates neurochemical responses in our body that help us become faster more easily. To recruit this cognitive component of fitness make it a habit to imagine yourself performing the movements you perform in training and feel how they are benefiting you by helping you increase strength, speed and power We live in two worlds, on either side of our skin. We must pay attention equally, to both.
